Searching PubMed for pregnancy/childbirth articles
More than 24 million citations for biomedical literature from Medline, life science journals, and books. An increasing number of these documents are available in free full-text. Nearly all of the rest can be found in Rothrock Library or requested through interlibrary loan. Brought to you by the National Institutes of Health.

SELECT SEARCH TERMS
(pregnancy or childbirth) and (china or chinese)
or get more specific:
(pregnancy or prenatal or fetal or childbirth or birth or delivery or obstetrical or obstetrics or postpartum or perinatal) and (china or chinese)
Enter your search terms and click on Search.
NARROW YOUR RESULTS
Notice the Filters sidebar on the left.
Under Text availability, select Free full text.
Under Publication dates, select 5 yrs (or 10 yrs or create a custom range).
Click on Show additional filters.
Select the Languages and Journal categories, then click on Show.
Select English and nursing journals for your language and journal category.
EXAMINE YOUR RESULTS
Click on the title of one of your results to see its abstract (summary).
Click on the publication (periodical, journal, etc.) title to see where this document was published.
ACCESS FREE FULL-TEXT WHEN AVAILABLE
For the full-text of documents that have a “Free article” label, click on the document’s title. Next, click on the icon under Free text links in the upper right of the screen.
SAVE OR SEND YOUR RESULTS
(1) To select articles or other documents that interest you, click in the box beside each of those documents.
(2) Click on Send to: in the upper right of the screen, and then on Clipboard.
(3) When finished with reviewing your results and selecting your documents, click on Clipboard and then view the selected documents, email the clipboard results, create a bibliography in an NCBI account, et cetera.
