                 b)            The Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Foundation


                                    The Ellis Island database provides access to the passenger arrival records of the people who arrived at the Port of New York from 1892-1924. May search without registering, but need to register for free to view the full passenger record or scanned image. Pictures of the ships are often available. 

                 c)                  Immigrant Ships Transcribers Guild 

    Transcriptions of over 16,000 passenger lists done by volunteers. Also has ship descriptions, etc.


    d)                  The Olive Tree Genealogy

    Includes ship passenger lists, info on Palatines, New Netherlands (NY) genealogy, and more.  All free.


    e)                  Palmer List of Merchant Vessels 

    (scroll down on the top window to search index.)



    Free access to a database of information on 11 million immigrants from 1830 through 1892 who arrived in NY.
