Accessing Databases from Off Campus

LCCC students, faculty, and staff can access the periodical databases and other subscription content from off-campus.  You will be prompted to log in with your last name and your L number.

Having trouble?  Try these steps first:

1.  Double-check your L number.  Make sure that you include the L. 

2.  Try a different web browser.

3.  If your last name has more than one possible variation, such as a hyphen, make sure you type it the same way it appears on your student ID. 

If these steps don't work, give us a call at (610) 799-1150.

Unfortunately, off-campus access to subscription content is available only for current students, faculty, and staff.  Alumni and community patrons are welcome to access our electronic resources using the computers in the library.  

Philosophy and Religion

  • Religion and Philosophy Collection--EBSCO
    Periodical articles in religion and philosophy.
  • Religion and Philosophy Collection--Gale
    Religion and Philosophy Collection provides access to scholarly journals and magazines of interest to both researchers and general users. The database offers balanced content that covers topics across a wide range of philosophies and religions.
  • Religion Database--ProQuest
    Religion Database provides a wide range of primarily full-text periodicals and other sources for diverse religious and spiritual studies, covering formal theological studies and commentary on topics of general interest from the perspectives of many worldwide religions. As well as scholarly journals there are many titles from religious publishing bodies and nondenominational organizations. The resource reflects a wide spectrum of religious belief systems and supports the global study of religion.
  • Arts and Humanities Database
    Art, Architecture, Design, History, Philosophy, Music, Literature, Theatre and Cultural Studies - journal articles

    This database features hundreds of titles covering Art, Architecture, Design, History, Philosophy, Music, Literature, Theatre and Cultural Studies.

    Articles from periodicals in the humanities and social sciences.
